Come and read what happened at Seymour Primary School on June 3rd.
On the 3rd of June when the clouds lay dormant the whole school took part in this year’s Lapathon. There were 3 areas-first track belonged to the walkers who lapped the whole school and part of S.T.H.S. Second track went to the scooters which lapped the basketball court and the rebound wall, and the last track went to the bike riders who went around the main school building. Many laps were completed by all and their hard work was rewarded by the Parents and Friends Club cooking sausages in bread. The day was also a chance for them to dress up as their hero. You could be a super hero or someone you know who’s a hero. There were many terrific costumes such as nurses, soldiers, footy players, fairies and Hannah Montana.
Congratulations to all students and their families for raising over $3200 for the school. This total is still growing, so all those out there who haven’t handed in their Lapathon money, please do so soon so we can get our final total. Next week we will have the winners who raised the most from each year level!
